Dear friends,







I love the Winter and I love this time around the Solstice, the switching of
decrescendo to a crescendo of light.
To share these special days with you, I am back to my little habit started
a couple of years ago, which consists of drawing and sending
a picture every day.
At first, it was meant for my family and closest friends, now the list
has grown very long. I want to thank you all for your curiosity,
your loyalty, your presence…
 

So this year again, here are some image-thoughts to share
with you. Again, no artistic pretention, it is just the joy of following
the "Advent calendar" tradition: opening a little window on a new
image every morning.

J'aime l'hiver et cette période autour du Solstice, le decrescendo
puis crescendo de la lumière. 

Pour partager ce moment avec vous, 
j'ai pris le pli de dessiner
et d'envoyer une image chaque jour.
Au départ, 
il s'agissait de les envoyer à ma famille et
mes amis proches, mais de fil en aiguille la liste d'envoi
s'est allongée. Vous êtes maintenant très
nombreux
et j'ai beaucoup de reconnaissance pour votre curiosité,
votre fidélité, votre présence…


Alors voici une nouvelle fois des images-pensées
à partager avec vous.
 
Encore une fois, il n'y a là aucune
prétention artistique, il s'agit simplement de petits dessins
rapides pour conserver la tradition du calendrier de l'Avent,
une fenêtre à ouvrir sur une nouvelle image chaque matin.

Rakas perhe ja rakkaat ystävät,





Adventti on taas! Tykkään Joulusta, tykkään talvesta ja tykkään
varsinkin Adventista. Haluan taas kerran elää tätä erikoista
vuodenaikaa teidän kanssa, piirtämällä ja lähettämällä
joka päivä uuden kuvan. 


Aluksi, lähetin piirrokset vain perheelle, suvulle, ja pienelle
ystäväpiirille. Nyt on lista pitkä! Teitä on niin monta, olen siitä
todella kiitollinen!

 Tänä vuonna aion siis taas lähettää piirroksia,
ei mitään taiteellista, vaan ihan nopeita vaatimattomia piirrustuksia.
Idea on pelkästään se, että tämä olisi niinkuin Adventtikalenteri
jonka laitetaan seinälle: joka päivä saa avata uuden luukun ja
nähdä uuden kuvan.

Liebe Freunde,

Ich liebe Weihnachten, Festzeit, Winter und die Adventszeit.
Um die Freude dieser besonderen Tage mit Euch zu teilen,
habe ich eine Tradition vor ein paar Jahren begonnen,
worin ich jeden Tag ab dem 1. Advent eine handgemalte
Zeichnung an alle versende.
Zunächst war es nur für meine Familie und nahe Verwandte
angedacht, jedoch kamen immer mehr Interessenten hinzu
und wir sind jetzt
bei über 300! Ich möchte mich hiermit auch bei allen bedanken,
die so neugirig, eifrig und treu mit angefeuert haben...
Also dieses Jahr erneut: Hier sind einige Bilder die ich mit Euch
teilen möchte, jeden Tag ein neues Fensterchen im Adventskalender.
